The Monkey Mind
Become a witness to your monkey mind. Ever chattering, disturbing your natural inner peace. Commit to observing your thoughts that arise during the day. Notice how they influence the condition of your mind, emotions and body. Negative, judgmental, sabotaging or self defeating thoughts, cause ripples of disturbance across the mind. Notice where they come from, a parent, a loved one or from the past. Then say to yourself, ‘cancel’ or ‘delete’ and replace them with a positive thought of your choice. Ask your higher self to help you, allowing uplifting companion feelings of greater peace, love and joy. Gently move your awareness to the center of your chest, and feel those feelings uplift your heart, body and mind. Experiment and find out what works for you.
